feel down

To feel sad, dejected, or depressed. He's been feeling down ever since he found out he didn't get the job. I felt down for a while, but I remembered that it was just a game and that winning wasn't everything. I have been feeling down lately, but I think it's just because of this gloomy weather we've been having.
