fear no colors

To be brave in a dangerous situation. "Colors" has a military connotation, although the phrase can be used more broadly than that. I can handle this situation, I swear—I fear no colors. A: "Ronald says he'll be the one to break in because he fears no colors." B: "Wow. I'm not sure if he's brave or stupid!" You have to fear no colors in order to survive on the battlefield.
