To drop underneath something. The baby's crying because her toy fell beneath the couch. My phone must have fallen beneath my seat in the car and I didn't even realize it. A: "Why have so many ornaments fallen beneath the Christmas tree?" B: "I'm sure Fluffy had something to do with it."
