everything is rosy in the garden

Everything is going well. Usually used in describing negative situations. I doubt that everything is rosy in the garden for them—I think their happiness is just an act. The company was on the verge of bankruptcy, but the owners went on pretending that everything was rosy in the garden. Are you sure that everything is rosy in the garden? I know you've been under a lot of stress lately.
