emigrate to (some place) from (some place)
To leave one country to live in another. My great-grandparents emigrated to the US from Ireland when they were just kids. When I first started watching hockey, it was rare for a player to emigrate to the US from the Soviet Union to play in the NHL. In fact, the first players had to defect. I love visiting my mom's relatives, so I hope they never emigrate to the US from Italy.
