To move someone or something physically closer to someone or something else. I grabbed Bobby's hand and drew him toward me as the car whizzed by. A: "I didn't expect him to draw me toward him and dip me like that!" B: "Well, he is a trained dancer." I drew the baby toward my chest and rocked her as she cried.
