double-dipping

(The act of being) involved in and benefiting from two different things at once, often illegally. Once you start getting pension payments, you could be accused of double-dipping. As a stock broker, you're allowed to collect two commissions on this one account? And how is that not double-dipping? These departments function completely separately because we can't have anyone "double-dipping" in the eyes of the law.
