A humorous response to a statement that one thinks is ridiculous or highly improbable, as if it were a joke. A: "Monica is coming to the meeting tonight, right?" B: "Don't make me laugh—she hasn't been to one all year." Seth wants to become a lawyer? Seth, who barely went to class in high school? Don't make me laugh. You think Kevin will get here on time? Ha, don't make me laugh—that guy is late to absolutely everything.
