verb To transfer legal ownership of something, often property, to one. A deed is a legal document that proves one's ownership of something. My grandfather deeded his house to me in his will. Do you really think she'll deed her whole collection over to me? When I get a new car, I'm going to deed this one over to my 17-year-old son.
