deck out
A noun or pronoun can be used between "deck" and "out."
1. To dress in an especially extravagant manner. Wow, you sure got decked out for the party tonight! Maybe I should have worn something nicer than jeans. The wedding dress code is black tie, so we need to be decked out—tux, gown, the whole thing. Ugh, I got all decked out for my date, and then he canceled on me at the last minute.
2. To decorate something lavishly or elaborately. A noun or pronoun can be used between "deck" and "out." Wow, you really decked out the house for the party tonight—I've never seen so many Christmas lights in my life! I don't particularly like Halloween, so it's not an occasion I really deck out the house for. It's only November 1st, and their house is already all decked out for Christmas.
