To feel sorry for oneself. To bemoan one's fate or life. Don't cry in your beer, man. I know you're bummed about Amanda, but if she broke up with you, she's not the one. After I didn't get into my top-choice school, I needed a few days to cry in my beer. I know you're disappointed that opportunity didn't work out, but you need to stop crying in your beer and start auditioning again.
