1. noun A romantic infatuation with someone, especially unbeknownst to that person. Oh man, she's had a crush on Tommy for years! Why are you always looking at Steph's SpaceBook page? Wait, do you have a crush on her? So I have a little crush on her, so what? It's not like she'd ever be interested in a geek like me.
2. verb, slang To have a romantic infatuation with someone, especially unbeknownst to that person. Oh man, she's been crushing on Tommy for years! Yeah, I was crushing on one of my colleagues for a while, but I decided not to pursue it for the sake of our work. A: "I hear that Samantha is crushing on John." B: "No way! Aww, they'd be so cute together."
