1. Someone deemed to be weak and cowardly. That guy's a total cream puff—there's no way he'll show up to meet you in the boxing ring. I'm not surprised that Tom didn't come to the rally—he's too much of a cream puff to defend his beliefs in public. He acts like a tough guy, but he's actually a cream puff when it comes to needles. He had to get a tetanus shot at work once, and the nurse practically had to sit on him to administer it!
2. A used car that has been very well maintained. I wouldn't buy a used car unless it's a total cream puff. I knew he'd been working on a car, but I wasn't expecting it to be a cream puff. He could get a nice pay day if he ever decide to sell. I know you're offering me a cream puff, but I would just feel better with a brand-new car no matter what.

There are numerous flavors of cream puffs to choose from, including passion fruit, chocolate, berries, lemon, vanilla, praline and pistachio.
