To advise one against taking some action. As his defense lawyer, you need to counsel your client against making incriminating statements like that. Sure, counsel these young players against making stupid decisions, but don’t be surprised when they don't listen. I'm sorry, Officer, but my attorney has counseled me against answering any more of your questions.
