come in a body

To reach some place in a group. Naturally, my whole family came in a body to visit me, which was a bit overwhelming! When we throw these parties, it seems like everyone comes in a body—there are either no guests or a packed room. Oh yeah, at 6:00 PM at that place, everyone comes in a body. My recommendation is to either make a reservation or come later.
