chase (someone or something) in(to) (some place)

To steer or guide someone or something into a particular place. The dog chased the sheep back into their pen. A: "Where did that cat come from?" B: "I bet some other animal chased it into our yard." Good luck chasing the horse back into the stable.

to drive someone or an animal into a place of confinement. They chased all the cattle into the corral. The cowboys chased in the cattle.
