To become a vagrant. The "stick" here supports a "bindle," a small cloth sack that is traditionally carried by hobos. If you don't stop racking up so much credit card debt, you'll be carrying the stick sooner than later! I see that guy a lot on the streets. I wonder what his story is, how he came to carry the stick. You haven't saved up any money? If you lose this job, you'll end up carrying the stick!
