To expand or extend a structure or building into a certain area. Our neighbors had to get a permit to build out onto the undeveloped tract behind their house. I know you guys would love to put an addition on your house, but there's just not enough room to build out onto your lot. We're going to build out onto the west side of the parking lot in order to expand this wing of the building.
