bring (something) into blossom

To cause something, such as a flower or a tree, to bloom. Moving those flowers to a sunnier spot helped bring them into blossom. Nothing I've done has brought these plants into blossom—do I need to water them more often? How does Mom bring these tulips into blossom so early in the season?

to make a plant or tree bloom. The special plant food brought the rosebush into blossom. The roses were brought into blossom by the lovely weather.
