To stop doing a routine action or activity. I struggled to break the habit of biting my nails, but getting regular manicures helped. I know it's hard to break a habit, but you really need to stop spending so much on clothes. Don't worry, the start of the school year will force the kids to break the habit of sleeping in till noon every day.
