blow past (someone or something)

1. To move past someone extremely quickly. We were all stuck in traffic when some jerk on a motorbike blew past us on the shoulder. She's an actress, apparently—that's why she got to blow past all of us waiting in line to get into the club. I blew past that guy, which turned out to be a mistake because he was an undercover police officer.
2. To exceed some threshold or limit very easily and to a great degree. The sales for our latest product have been blowing past our expectations. You've already blown past your budget, so I'm not allocating anymore funds. If you asked her about her weight, then you definitely blew past common decency!
