1. To adorn oneself in gaudy or ostentatious clothing, accessories, or jewelry as a means of looking superficially attractive. The group of women in the bachelorette party, blinged out and drunk beyond comprehension, wandered into a nightclub and began causing a scene. Oh, it's a dead giveaway—anyone who walks in here totally blinged out just came into money. I wanted to get my granddaughter a tasteful diamond pendant, but she would rather "bling out"—her words—with bigger, splashier pieces.
2. To adorn something in flashy, ostentatious decorations or enhancements. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "bling" and "out." You see a lot of people in this neighborhood driving hot rods they've blinged out with decals, neon lights, and hydraulics. What possible need would one have to bling out a purse in diamonds? Of course he lives in a tiny shoebox of an apartment—he spends all his money blinging out his DJ equipment.
