To argue or squabble with someone about something. Would you quit bickering with your sister over your plans for the day? I need five minutes of peace and quiet! I do really like Helen, even though I'm always bickering with her over something or other. There's no correct way to hang Christmas lights, so quit bickering with your father over it and decorate the house already!
