To offer enough value for the price one must pay. Often said of some minor or partial portion or aspect of something that one considers to justify the cost of the whole. The haunted cornfield attraction is pretty short, but it's so intensely scary that I think it's worth the price of admission. There are lots of cool features in their newest smartphone model, but the incredible 3D display is worth the price of admission all on its own. My daughter has become a much more confident, engaged student since starting at that private all-girls' school, and that has been worth the price of admission.
