To be very excited or enthusiastic about someone or something. Ned is just wild about his new girlfriend. I mean, he's been talking about her nonstop for days. I'm not too wild about that paint color—are there other swatches I can look at? Tommy is just wild about baseball right now, so get him a new bat for his birthday—he'll be thrilled.
