To have a strong aversion or sense of disgust or dislike when encountering someone or something. At this point, he's betrayed me so many times that I'm sick of the sight of him. This nursing shift has been so long that I'm totally sick of the sight of blood by now. I am sick of the sight of these political campaign ads. They're on all the time, and every year they get nastier and nastier.
