To be interested in, passionate about, and working toward making systemic, fundamental, or far-reaching changes. Ellen has always been out to change the world, so I'm not surprised she's become an environmental lobbyist in Washington. Our company is looking for bright, idealistic college graduates who are out to change the world. We'll need them if we're going to start creating solutions. You're out to change the world with your music? Yikes, that sounds like a lot of pressure to me.
