be on show
be on show
To be displayed or exhibited, as of an item for sale. There will be lots of paintings on show at the gallery opening, if you're looking to buy some more art. All of the projects on display were excellent, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. Of all the cars that were on show, this one intrigues me the most.
