To sound pleasant or appealing, as of a singer or other vocal performer. What a beautiful performance! Linda is really in good voice tonight. A: "That guy was not in good voice tonight." B: "I hear he had a cold—that may have affected his hearing, and, in turn, his singing. The children's choir is so cute that no one cares if they're actually in good voice.
