To be present at or involved in a particular point in time (of some process, activity, or endeavor). That designer is always in at the beginning of a new fashion trend. Thankfully, I was in at the start of that lucrative investment opportunity, and I made millions. Did you hear that Joe's proposal got rejected? Was anyone in at the meeting?
