slang To be not at all in the wrong; to be totally fine. A: "I'm sorry about what happened, man." B: "Don't worry about it, bro. You're golden." You're golden, I know you would have been here on time if traffic hadn't been such a mess. A: "Sorry I didn't save a seat for you, I just didn't know you were coming to the lecture." B: "Oh, you're golden—it was a last-minute decision on my part."
