To be doing something at a surprisingly young age (at least to the speaker). Home buyers seem to be getting younger—or does it just feel that way now that I'm 50? A: "Are college students getting younger?" B: "No, it's just that a lot of them look like they're about twelve years old." Because I was born in the 80s, it was pretty jarring the first time I hired someone born in the 90s. New hires are getting younger on me all the time.
