To be severely intoxicated from alcohol, to the point of being unable to stand upright. On his 21st birthday, Jeff's friends took him to every bar in town until he was falling-down drunk. How much did you have to drink at the party? Because you were falling-down drunk by the time I saw you. Please tell me I wasn't falling-down drunk at the company Christmas party—I know that's not a good look!
