Of a detail, to be minor but noticeable in a way that makes something appreciably more interesting, pleasant, enjoyable, etc. The remake was really well made on its own merits, so the references to the original film were especially nice touches that didn't feel tacked on. They used a collage of pictures from all our travels together to create the centerpiece. That's a nice touch! Ooh, the sax on the chorus is a nice touch.
