To be merely teasing or joking with someone, especially by trying to convince them of something untrue. He's pulling your leg, Sarah. He has never worked for any bigshot Hollywood director. Come on, don't get upset. I was just pulling your leg! A: "I swear that guy is a famous body-builder." B: "You're pulling my leg—I'm bigger than that guy!"
