To be loud and painful to listen to. I don't know how kids enjoy playing their music so loud—it just assaults the ear! Is there a worse sound than feedback from a microphone? It assaults the ear and practically shocks the brain! You'll definitely wake up if the baby starts crying. Those newborn wails assault the ear just enough to disrupt a sound slumber.
