arrive at the scene (of something)

To reach a destination, usually some place where something is or has happened. When did the police arrive at the scene of the crime? By the time I arrived at the scene, Kate and Jen were already arguing. A: "It's taking too long for paramedics to arrive at the scene of the accident." B: "I know, one of us should start chest compressions on her."
