My toddler loves eating, even though most food ends up all over her face, instead of in her mouth. 2. Said of a facial expression that reveals one's true thoughts or feelings. I know you're guilty—it's all over your face! Hannah said she wasn't upset, but her sadness was all over her face. You can deny it all you want, but I know this is a really hard situation to be in—the pain of it is all over your face.
