1. Very considerate and generous. Of course Jenna gave you her last dollar—she's all heart. My son is all heart, always giving up his toys to his friends and classmates. A: "I still volunteer whenever I get the chance." B: "I'm not surprised to hear that, Betsy. You've always been all heart."
2. Of an athlete, especially gritty and courageous, perhaps to make up for talent. Peter may not be a star, but he's all heart and always willing to play against the other teams' best players. Hey, give this kid a look. Sure, he's small, but he's all heart and very solid defensively. I can't believe that guy came back and finished the game after taking a puck to the face. Talk about being all heart!
