ain't long enough

Said of someone or something that is lacking in money or funds. Can we go out to dinner next week? I just ain't long enough right now. I can't pay that much for a concert ticket—my bank account ain’t long enough. I ain't long enough for a trip right now, so I could only go if you paid for both of us.
