cokeaholic

One who is addicted to cocaine. Ralph used to be a cokeaholic, that's why he went to rehab. He used to be a real upright guy with a bright future ahead of him. Now he's just a cokeaholic who spends each day looking for his next hit. Addiction is a powerful thing. Today's cokeaholics were yesterday's recreational drug users.

foodaholic

Someone who frequently consumes food in excess. Modeled on "alcoholic." I used to be a real foodaholic, but now I'm able to control my portions much more easily. Nah, I've never been a foodaholic. Shopping is where I overindulge. He'll never lose weight until he addresses the fact that he's a foodaholic.

shopaholic

Someone who shops very often or compulsively. Usually used hyperbolically. Steph's such a shopaholic—it seems like multiple packages come for her every day. The dopamine rush you get from shopping makes it easier to become a shopaholic than you might think.
