a hat trick of (something)

Three similar achievements executed by someone. Refers to the sports term "hat trick," which describes three particular achievements in one game by one player. (In ice hockey, for instance, a player who scores three goals in one game is said to have scored a hat trick.) And now, with her Best Actress win, the two-time Best Supporting Actress winner has a hat trick of Oscars to her name. Charles is looking for a hat trick of wins, as he pursues a third term in Congress. It's hard to believe that author has won a hat trick of literary awards at only age 26.
