a feeling about (someone or something)

A sense or premonition about someone or something, whether good or ill. I don't know, I just have a feeling about her—I think she's the right one for the job. Mom says she has a feeling about the flight—she doesn't think we should go. I've always had a feeling about Ralph, like I shouldn't trust him.

a premonition that [something might happen or be the case]; an intuition about something. (*Typically: get ~; have ~; give someone ~.) I had a feeling that you might be dropping by this afternoon. I didn't have any facts to support it. I just had a feeling.
