A dream to do or accomplish something with no monetary means of achieving it. When I was a kid, all I had was a dollar and a dream of being a professional basketball player. Twenty-five years later, it's still surreal to have a championship ring on my hand. The CEO's new memoir recounts how he first came to this country as a refugee with nothing but a dollar and a dream. She says that she started her career with just a dollar and a dream, but I know for a fact she inherited a lot of money while she was still in college.
