informal Back to the start (of something). "Taws" may refer to the game of marbles, in which one shoots from a line called a "taw." Primarily heard in Australia. We need to go back to taws and rewrite this whole section if we want to have any hope of our complaint being taken seriously. I lost all my data when the computer crashed, so I'm afraid I'm going back to taws. We'll have to go back to taws if the government pulls our funding on this project.
