SFYL

An initialism of "sorry for your loss," used primarily in online communications as a response to someone who fell victim to an online scam or risky investment. Usually used sarcastically. A: "I got scammed for nearly $5000 investing in that stupid cryptocurrency racket." B: "The one literally all of us warned you about? Wow, I'm shocked. SFYL"
