SCNR

An initialism of "sorry, could not resist," used in online communications as a humorous non-apology for some joke one just made, especially when it is corny, in bad taste, or mocks someone. Often written in lowercase letters. A: "These two crows came down and started pecking at me!" B: "I guess you could say it was an… attempted murder! Get it? Because a group of three or more crows is a murder. Lol, SCNR." A: "So, what are your biggest surprises of the year, dear readers?"
