Negative Ned

One who is frequently or excessively pessimistic or discouraging. Don't be such a Negative Ned! Come on, we can do this, as long as we work together. I can't be around a Negative Ned like Mitch anymore. He really brings me down by constantly talking about all the problems in our society.
