An especially trivial, unimportant, or insignificant business, endeavor, activity, etc. Wouldn't you rather work for a company that has some international renown, instead of some dinky Mickey Mouse operation out here in the middle of nowhere? We need some professionals to help us plan and design this project, or the investors are just going to think it's some silly Mickey Mouse operation.

By the time I came on board, the previous management team had managed to turn the project into a total Mickey Mouse operation that had nothing worthwhile to show for nearly eight months of work. The whole film shoot was a Mickey Mouse operation from beginning to end. Sets weren't complete, hair and makeup were often ignored completely, and most of the actors hadn't even read the script.
