The report notes a growing movement to strengthen the craft of
journalism and how journalists committed to accuracy are doing good work and connecting with audiences.
That kind of
journalism may have appeared odd or even corrupt when evaluated from the narrow perspectives of
journalism in the United States, which still adhered to a model of a non-partisan, independent, seemingly objective
journalism designed to hold the government to account.
Specifically, I want to ask: How has that crisis affected
journalism education in the United States?
